After studying music at the National Conservatory of Music (Nice), Bertrand Cervera was admitted to the Conservatoire National Superieur de Musique de Paris where he won violin and chamber music first prizes. He quickly became Laureate of the International Competitions of Colmar, London and Melbourne.  
 
Pursuing a career as a concert performer in France, Spain, the United States and Japan, he is regularly invited as a solo violin in formations such as the Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse, the Lisbon Metropolitan Orchestra, the London Philharmonic Orchestra or the Kyoto Philharmonic.  
 
He was recently named soloist of the Orchestre National de France, where he collaborates with prestigious conductors such as Lorin Maazel, Ricardo Muti, Bernard Haitink, Seiji Ozawa and Kurt Masur.  
 
Continuing his experience as a teacher at the National Conservatory of Paris, he has successfully created the "Sorru in Musica" festival whose first edition took place in July 2004 in partnership with the Archets de Paris, ensemble with which he participated in numerous concerts since 2001 as a solo violin.  
 
Bertrand Cervera is Musical Director for the creation of an opera on « le Chevalier de Saint George » « le Nègre des Lumières » in October 2005.  
 
In 2008, he created a musical season with his new formation "PARIS CLASSIK" produced by Euromusic.
